I am afraid of The Bible. There are two big reasons why the so-called Good Book tingles my tootsies:

1. Everyone seems to have read it.
2. Except me.

Arguably, the Bible is the second most important piece of literature in human history (after Green Eggs and Ham). I imagine it’s history, morality, magic, family drama, and murder mystery all rolled into one. After 2,000+ years, it still influences modern socio-political-cultural everything. It’s been rehashed and reinterpreted, revered and reviled. And I’m in the dark.

Bible Heathen is an attempt to lift the cover of the unknown and face my fear.
